Help text is cut off on screen due to Help font corrupted.
Cause:
The Office 95 Help file uses the Haettenschweiler font for its graphical screens which allows a large number of characters in a given space. The Haettenschweiler font file is damaged.
Solution:
If Office 95 is running from a local drive, delete the Haettenschweiler font from the hard drive and run Setup, reinstall again.
1) If Office 95 is running from a local drive, delete the Haettenschweiler font from the hard drive and run Setup, reinstall again.
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.

b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'.

c) Open 'Fonts'.
d) Select the 'Haettenschweiler' font icon.
e) Select 'Delete' from the 'File' menu.
f) Close 'Fonts'.
g) Insert the Installation CD-ROM or diskette into the drive.
h) Stay in Control Panel and open 'Add/Remove Programs'.
i) Select 'Microsoft Office' from the list box of installed components.
j) Click 'Add/Remove...'
k) Click 'Reinstall'.
2) If Office 95 is running from a network drive, delete the Haettenschweiler font from the local drive (if applicable) and drag a new copy from the network server or the installation CD-ROM.
a) Repeat steps 1 a) to 1 f) above to delete the Haettenschweiler font.
b) Do one of the following:
1] Use the Office 95 CD to re-install the font:
a] Insert the Office 95 CD into the drive.
b] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.

c] Select the 'Start' menu and select 'Windows Explorer'.
d] Select the drive containing the CD-ROM in the left-hand window.
e] Open the OS\FONTS folder.
f] Select the 'Hatten.ttf' file.
g] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Copy'.
h] Locate and open the 'Fonts' folder on the hard disk (in the WINDOWS directory).
i] Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste' to paste the Hatten.ttf file into the folder.
NOTE: This action automatically installs the font.
2] Connect to the network server containing the Office 95 installation files to re-install the font:
a] Open 'Network Neighborhood'.

b] Open the network server icon.
c] Locate the OS\FONTS folder on the network server.
d] Select the 'Hatten.ttf' file.
e] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Copy'.
f] Locate and open the 'Fonts' folder on the hard disk (in the WINDOWS directory).
g] Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste' to paste the Hatten.ttf file into the folder.
NOTE: This action automatically installs the font.
